Why doesn’t my Center/Sub jack work on my C-Media 9761 on-board audio?
I have a gigabyte 8s661fxm-rz motherboard and on it there is on board audio. A C-Media 9761 chip with 6speaker support, 3 jack witch which emulate the 5.1 surround jacks. I have tried switching the jumpers, differant drivers, i have even updated the BIOS. All works fine, the Headphones, the 2 speaker setting and the 4 speaker setting. Its just the 6 speaker setting that doesn’t work correctly, all the channels play except for the mic jack witch is turned into the Center/Sub jack when 6 channel audio is selected.
I have really tried everything i can but to no avail… does any know how to solve this?
