Anyone actually heard the Blaupunkt GTw1200?
Greets all.
I wondered if anyone has actually heard the Blaupunkt GTw1200 subwoofer in person. Sometimes numbers just don't cut it.
I love jaw rattling boom as I listen to a lot of technobass (like Beat Dominator, Magic Mike, IBP Records, etc) for pleasure. I've never been interested in outbooming someone else with a system or building one that meets competition stats. I just want deafening boom. I have a strong affinity for Blaupunkt head units and coax speakers. I was thinking of getting four of these subs backed by a pair of Blaupunkt pca1350 monoblocks.

It says 200 watts which sounds like it would be too small to handle electronic bass music too well, but again I want to state I want to rattle my own ear drums, not try to compete with people. Any extremely knowledgable car audio lovers out there? Whaddya think?

Not so sure about the GTw1200, but I use the GTb1200 in my car along with blaupunkt components in the front and coax in the rear. Its got 250w compared to the 200 in the GTw and comes in a company fitted box.
While purchasing I'd compared this woofer with a JBL bass tube CS1204t, which didn't really have the tight punch I was looking for. Then I heard the blaupunkt and loved it! I listen to a lot of electronica and I think for the price you get it its unbeatable!
