Can you help me find the title of this Noir booK?
The main character was a detective. He had implants put into his eyes so he would always see his surroundings in the old film noir detective movie style… black & white …the clothing and hairstyles were all superimposed onto the people around him. He tracks down people who have to pay an over-due dept. If they can’t pay he removes their nervous system from their bodies and puts the body part into an electronic device…Ex. A one of a kind music system…and they have to “work” after-death to pay off the debt.
The Man with the X-Ray Eyes is about a mad scientist, can’t find one about a detective except in DC Comics. Yours sounds interesting.
