How do I get the silver or gold bass symbol in Rock Band 2?
I was online playing Rock Band on the ps3, and I got this bassist who had the gold bass symbol. I myself am on Expert Bass, and I wanna get one of those, or at least the silver bass symbol. So how do I get that on Rock Band 2? I want people to know that I'm a bona fide bassist, and so no one takes my position when we go online and switches me to lead guitar.

I believe playing the Endless Setlist 2 in Tour mode will change the symbol. The color is based on the difficulty. If you play the Endless Setlist 2 on:
Hard, you get a gold bass symbol, and
Expert, you get platinum/(silver?) symbol.
Same rules apply for all instruments. Oh, and you have to do the whole setlist w/o stopping. So no pausing, failing, or leaveing, oryou gotta start all over.
