home theater and stereo wifi connection to computer?

I have a laptop that is of course WiFi equipped and also has bluetooth capabilities if this helps at all, Im looking to design a system that will unite my HDTV and home theater speakers to my computer. I noticed apple makes the express router for streaming my music to the speakers, but i would also like to be able to stream video from my computer to the TV. What options do i have for setting up such a system?

Your best bet would be to get a computer with HDMI connectivity, if you have VGA out you could connect the video that way and then run sound though speaker out to TV but it is really not that simple lots of people do that to find out the sound is not good and out of sink, and the picture flickers, and is cut off, the refresh rate is different on the computer than on the TV also the picture is often cut off on the TV due to different pixel counts, you can download soft wear to try and resolve the problem and also get a converter, booster box for the sound and if your lucky you could solve it to a satisfactory level through trial and error….., so again you best bet is to use HDMI connectivity…
